CONGRATULATIONS HLM....what a great feeling

It is so nice to see so much good coming from so many cases in MENA.

I myself would like for my friends to keep their fingers crossed that my husband walks away with his VISA in hand tomorrow. He was told to be in Casablanca Consulate at 1pm with passport.

These last few days have been incredible..I feel totally different now and we have started to make plans. If he gets the Visa then we are looking at a November 14th arrival...

:dance::dance::dance:

the weather here has been delightful...Halloween night was perfect and the last 2 days we are just savoring the warm weather here.

Hubby is looking forward to his first winter in the States and seeing snow...I have already begun doing so much and I feel this next week will be jammed packed with chores to tackle...but I dont care...soon I will be able to see my love again after 8 months.

I may need your help MENA as I dont know what will happen once he gets to the airport. I am sure that everything should be easy after the hell we have already been thru.

Alhamdulillah :star:

she asked me :

talk to me how u two met?

did u meet his family?

what does ur family think?

what does my husband do?

then im the one who told her i have pix if she wanted to look at but other than that she didnt ask to see anything from what i had ready for her.

Overall i feel relieved and SO READY TO BE REUNITED WITH MY OTHER HALF!!

Still praying for u all; for speedy interview dates; an end to the looong APs; and a u turn for those got denied.

love u MENA peeps :star:

Hiiii. my wife Mai also had her interview at the US embassy in Cairo last Monday Nov. 17th.

Everything went well, just a small issue with one of my 3 tax returns, they wouldn't accept it, so my wife had to fill out a form listing her assets and cash in her bank accounts. The CO was very helpful and patient until my wife filled out the form for about 15-20 minutes. The CO lady was very nice and smiling all the time, so maybe you and her had the same CO.

Just as you, she was asked very basic and simple questions, like:

Where is your husband from originally?

Have you met his parents?

Do you know your husband's ex-wife's name?

Have you met your husband children?

Where and when did you both meet?

After that she said congratulations and wait about 2 weeks for the DHL. The CO kept her passport and one copy of the DHL tracking paper, gave the other to my wife and left. :innocent:

This morning, after just 5 days she received a big package from the Embassy containing the sealed envelope and her passport with the Visa attached to it!!!!!

I booked her return flight to the USA for next Friday No.v 28th via KLM Airlines, via Amsterdam - Minneapolis - Houston and finally San Antonio, Texas. This ends a very long and frustrating process, which took a little over 1 1/2 year to complete, we were very fortunate to spend most of that time together since she was living here with me in SA on her tourist visa while doing the paperwork, so there is not much to complain expect for the stress of going through all the requirements and sending forms back and forth. We were not experienced in this process and took a chance of doing it ourselves and of course with the help of everybody here at Visa Journey.

We wish everyone here in this forum the best, thanks for your support and good luck to you all.
