My USC wife did not earn money in year 2005 'coz she was not working. In 2005, she started working on the month of December 2005. She did not file her 2005 income tax return because she did not have W-2 for that year. Do I need to put her 2005 income in I-864? Or I'll leave it blank. If this is not the case...does she need to write a written explanation for not filling her 2005 income tax? In I-864...it asked for her income from recent years. I wrote her 2007 and 2006 income fro those years. How about her 2005? Do I need to put 0.00? Or leave it blank. Yhank you so much in advance... GOD BLess You All!!!

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

if you dont have W-2 for her......there is no need to write the income..............if you want and if you have the copy you can still file the tax......

Question 25 asks the sponsor to list their last 3 years income as reported on the tax return. That would be 2007, 2006, and 2005. If there was no tax return filed, I guess you would write "NONE"or "N/A". You would probably want to explain that in a separate statement.
