I have my interview monday for a K1 visa... we have his w2 as prrof of income along with the letter from work and banking information, My question is Im reading things about 1040's do we need his 1040's too or is the W2 enough for the interview ?

The instructions state that a 1040 is needed.

Faxed or scanned 1040s are acceptable.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Petitioner can call and get tax transcripts faxed to them on the same day. Has to be a business day tho. 1-800 829 1040.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

does he not have copies of his tax returns for his own personal records? if so he can fax them to you. (sorry if I am assuming the obvious)

If you have a secure fax number (i.e., one that is not accessible to your entire office), the IRS will fax your transcripts to you. It can take a couple of days, but that might be an option. Good luck!
