Your wife will need the I-864 affidavit of support to bring to the interview. Photocopy is ok but it should be notarized too. It follows then that the tax return, W2 and paystubs should be included.

12-09-08 - INTERVIEW @ 6:30AM...God be with us! --- APPROVED!!!

12-11-08 - VISAS RECEIVED....YAHOOOOO!!!

04-07-09 - POE: Chicago O'hare

04-28-09 - received SSN's (after having to apply for them personally!!!!)

04-30-09 - Received our 2-year GREEN CARDS

01-07-09 - ROC, here we come!!!

01-18-11 - Mailed out I-751

Hi,

Copies are fine but the form should be original and notarized!

Vida Taylor

Being notarized used to be required but isn't anymore. I believe the I-864A has to be notarized. Original I-864 was sent to NVC and will be forwarded to the embassy.

Copies are fine. But if you wanna be sure... just to ease your paranoia... (im sorta paranoid too), you can bring the original.

Be sure to bring supporting documents though like ITR, bank statements (savings/stocks/bonds) and w2 or any employment docs that shows his monthly income.
