[offtopic]I love meijer's. Its the only place I've found in Columbus that has Chicken pot pies without peas, but broccoli instead. And they're usually on sale for REALLY cheap. [/offtopic]

I drank my last Canadian coke today!:crying:

I don't have time to look for the article at the moment, but I remember reading about how they have to change the chemical composition of the corn syrup in order to come up with HFCS. Which, apparently, screws with the body's ability to break it down properly so it ends up causing intestinal problems and sends signals to the brain that you're still hungry. Or something to that effect.

Oh, and you can get caffeine free coke at the Publix here in FLA. Not the diet caffeine free coke. Real coke with no caffeine. I can't stand diet anything. Don't like the taste.

They say the same thing about aspartame - the hunger part anyway (or perhaps artificial sweetners in general - I hate them all).

If i had known you had Canadian coke I would have come to your house.

xtinab, maybe you could wash down those peas with some vodka! (people are going to start thinking you are a lush  )

Self proclaimed Lush, I love a good drink. But I know my limits as well. I would definitely TRY Pea Vodka tho! Heheh!

Gotta love Michigan Avenue on a "shopping day".

There I was on my way from the skating rink and being "forced" to take free samples of shtuff.

What did I try?

One of the samples was a bottle of Coke Zero.

The taste?

In one word: BLEH!

Like I was drinking space gas (wayyyyyy tooooo bubbly, no substance or even wet feeling) with some colour and a gross after-taste to boot.

spit spit...

"I'd like to buy the world a Coke..."

!

A real Coke....from Cannuckland.
