Im excited/nervous as we are nearly at the end. My last question, (probably), before the interview is do I hand over the completed package of original documents, and a completed package of photocopies separately? I have seen one member state they put original/photocopy/original/photocopy etc.

Which is correct?

Many thanks

Andy

What time is your interview? I have an interview Sydney on Monday 5th June ....8am :D

A photo copy should be behind the corresponding original. They will sight the original and take the photo copy.

Do we need to take the x-rays?

Do we need to take the x-rays?

Nope. Just have them in your luggage when you fly out. At my medical they wrote this on the front of my x-ray "Take to the US, not to interview"

Wow. I had to take mine to the interview because the results of the medical were inside. At the interview we were instructed to open the sealed package and hand them the envelope from inside. I guess it must work differently in Australia.

My xray was not even sealed and my results for my medical were mailed out seperately. I could of gone back and picked them up if I had wanted to. But yes every embassy/consulate post has different procedures. I was able to read my results.

Don't know what POE you are entering and the procedures there, but we have decided to put my DAH's xrays in a mailing tube & in the carryon bag as we are going to LAX and normally you have to clear immigration before you get your luggage there. That's in the unlikely event they ask for his xrays too, I don't want to be digging in six suitcases by myself, lol.

8-12-2004 I moved to New Zealand(married my Kiwi in US 5/04)

1-12-2006 Received initial packet - It has I-130, I-864 & DS-230 Part 1, DS-2001 & tons of instructions.

Gathering paperwork that we don't have:

5-30-2006 - I-130 FILED AND ACCEPTED BY AUCKLAND CONSULATE!- INTERVIEW: 6/13/2006

6-13-2006 - APPROVED!usaCa.gifnew_zeaC3.gif

6-14-2006 - VISA IN HAND D_SMIL112.gif

08-05-2006 -WE ARE HOME IN THE USA!!! flag12.gif

THREE HAPPY YEARS LATER:

5-10-09 - N-400 filed

8-24-09 - Interview

9-14-09 - Naturalization Oath Ceremony
