i was undocumented in uk and now came back to india volenterley. in uk i reported that my passport was lost and was issued 1year validity passport by indian highcommission in london.on that passport there is only departure stamp on it when i came back to india. after i came back to india i have taken another passport because the previous passport is only less than 1 year validity.

on this new passport i have filed cr-1. is this going to be an issue at my interview.

is staying undocumented in uk is a problem for us immigration?

no i never regestered with police there. only time i went to police station is to complain that my passport is lost. they gave me a code number and i took the same to indian high comission to get the new passport.

i am not in any records except my departure stamp in my old passport. i didnt even mentioned it in i-130 or ds-230 as it is only less than 6 months. please reply

yes i was in uk for less than 6 months. but there is no proof for that. i got only departure stamp when i travelled back to my home country from uk.

is i going to be an issue at visa interview?

i have got the work experiance proof and recedence proof that i was in india all these years.

so if the CO ask me about my uk trip can i tell him that i was on a visit to uk and i lost my passport there?

please reply!
