ok here is my dilemma

i am married to a us citizen (we married in uk) then moved over here on 6 sept 06.

recently we have been having problems in our marraige and divorce has been mentioned.

we have shared the same place together since we arrived here in the usa and now i find myself looking for a place to live seperately and if we do divorce she will be moving bk to the uk next year.

i had a 2 year permanent resident card (expired 9-6-08) and have since been for my biometrics (aug 8 2008).

i paid the $550 and went for my fingerprints, photo and signiture.

my question is if we do divorce will i be asked to leave because i am no longer married????

will we be asked in for an interview together or is the 10 year greencard on its way???

No, you shouldn't be asked to leave but it would be best to divorce after your receive your 10 year green card since it is after all based on your 2 year marriage. Check to see how long it has taken other people here on VJ to have ther I-751 approved to see how much longer it will take yours.

Best wishes. (F)
