weired setuation

my wife filed an i-130 for me in july 08 and in aug she filed the i-129f and she requested an expedite for medical reasons. in sep we recieved a letter form uscis says that they tranfserred the case to the local office to process it faster. yesterday i called the congress office and they contacted the local office and they said the case was not there,so she then called the csc and they said the case is there awaiting for background checks ?????????????????? but we have a letter says that it was transferred and the case status online showing that it was transferred in sep????? isn't weired !!!

that sounds like a USCIS error. Call them on the error and have them fix it. Call CSC directly.

very strange, yes i will have to but the strange thing is that i have the receipt and it shows that the file was transferred and in which room at the local office etc... and the congress lady told us that they pulled the file at the csc when she was talking to them????? lol
