Morning Sus;

DC is live and popping this morning. So, when you moving to DC.

Sunny, sjb, Roxie, unruly... you know there's going to a lot of partying this weekend in the DC area. I'm loving the unity right now. People were handing our shirts, pins and hats this morning at the lights when you cross the district line from my side. There were several Jamaican for Obama watch parties last night somewhere near Woodmoore and 202(near Sunny)

Sunny call me at work later.

I'm looking out for you Sus. I have friends that are legal secretaries making well over $70K a year and paralegals make way more than that. I want to go back in the law firm, but the overtime is brutal and some of it is required for you to get the position especially at the larger firms.

I just got off the phone with my grandmother, she just finish drinking her tea (coffee)...she call it tea. She says to me, so you have a new president and I said YES!...she said his grandmother knew he was going to win and that's why it was okay for her to go home early. I didn't even know my grandmother was keeping up with the news and she's in Jamaica. She says you get better coverage from the radio, so that's what she listens to all day.

morning all

as you know the first order of business is the election. last night i was watching the results and i developed diarrhrea and when barrack own i cried like a baby. bare in mind however that i am a jamaican but i felt so proud and i was proud of my husband for voting for him.

DC was crazy last night. I loved when people (mostly GW students) partied infront of the White House with eviction signs :lol: .

Girl, they still partying. GW is across the street from where I work and they're all over the place...now, the Georgetown students are in the mix.

sjb -- you know Georgetown and how congested it gets, well I got stuck making a right hand turn a some one ran into my car (JOGGING)...she was running and not paying attention. She's okay.

Glad she's okay. I tried hard not to laugh :unsure: . I didn't know we worked so close. I work to GW almost everyday.

Finally, for this am's book, lol - DJ went to the eye specialist yesterday - he still has some blood spots in the back of his eye, but the dr. thinks he will get at least 95% of his vision back without surgery!

That's good news Sus! Sounds like a long recovery, but at least a good one.

I didn't fill out a form, I just called the IRS and used their automated system and they showed up in the mail a couple of weeks later.
