I am wondering if JaLove has postpartum pre-eclampsia. I had taken care of many women who delivered normally and are sent home only to be re-admitted days later with this excruciating headache and blood pressure through the roof. They have to be given magnesium drip and have a couple days stay in the ICU. I tell you, having a baby is not easy at all.

I am just so scared for her. I hope se is doing alright. I feel like I am going to cry right now. I can't deal with this type of news about someone I know almost like family.

Love, I am praying diligently for your full revovery and hope these seizures you had have no long lasting effect on you.

Is this caused because they send the mother home so soon? What's the normal stay after delivery?

If the delivery was uncomplicated and all is well you are sent home ASAP. That does not necessarily mean you are 100%. Those pregnancy harmones just does not go away. Pregnancy induced hypertension and diabetes can happen after you deliver. Maybe her blood pressure was elevated and no one check it before she was sent home. There is no one set length of stay for birth, it is all individualized. It is absolutely terrible what the insurance companies forces the hospitals to do because this is what happens when you generalize healthy births by giving a length of stay for hospital stays because each person and their illness should be treated differently. This is making me angry so I am going to stop right now.

I DONT THINK THERE IS ANYTHING CROSS THE STREET LIKE A PARKING LOT OR SOMETHING

Sally's and Footprints both have good food. Sally's is on Ralph ave btwn Foster and Glenwood avenues and the parking lot is no longer there. There is a Dunkin donuts and subway across the street.

Trust me I can't take these analysts on the tv anymore. You can spin any little piece of info to mean whatever you want. Ugh...just report the results and be done with it.

A is so excited he fell asleep on the couch :innocent::lol:

Even if you couldn't tell us a thing just to know that someone was taking care of her (L)

Thanks Mrs. Scott for the update on JALove. I sure hope she gets to go home tomorrow (F)
