Hey, those of you in D.C. area.....what time is it there right now? We need to call up there later today and I am trying to gauge the time difference.

I feel bad for the kids. They should be just moved around like that. The mother really should've thought about what she is doing. It's good that he has you there for moral support.

this subject is soooo hard for me..cause it hurts me when men and women get into these relationships with nothing behin them and babies get made one after the other and then the woman gets blamed..nope..as stupid as my step-girls mother is..my husband is as much to blame and i call him out everytime she doesn something stupid....and all he has to say..I don't know why...oh yea..u must figure it out... :angry:

Being in a relationship with someone who already has kids with someone else can be so tricky and stressful. I honestly don't know how some of you ladies do it. I can't imagine having that stress on top of everything else.

Kimmy, it's one reason why I have been so angry at my SIL for weeks now.

Kimmy i have fussed at him, because he will give his last and go a day without eating to make sure everyone has lunch money. That is one of the things that makes me love him, is his concern for his kids, my own kids father wasnt like that, hell if he thought he had to give his last to me towards some child support he was fighting mad...LOL

Just keep in mind, in your planning, that he will not be able to work for a while and that responsibility will most likely fall on you in the beginning.

or hopefully he can save something to help tide him over until he finds a job, its not pretty, but he will stress even more when he's up here and they are down there. If they are of school age, think about bringing them up and try and buying clothes for them from now to ease that finanical burden of when they come...when he comes those who he left the children with may start trying to pluck that money tree, they think you have growing in your yard.

One of my points, Jengles. I know it's not pleasant, Honey. And, I'm sorry for that. Just want you to keep it in the back of your head as you are trying to plan things.

Kimmy my ex husband a say, was he was not responsible because I stole his sperm #######. Alot of men figure it is a womens duty to take care of their child. My son has this stupid mentality @ 22 I have know idea where he got this from. I was a divorced MOM and his Dad didn't do anything. Now my son goes well Ma that's in the past :angry: . Some men get away with everything and still smell like roses.

I think it is dependent on the mother's I've been in relationships with men who had kids here or/and in j.a. and never had a problem, dad did what he was supposed to do so did mom and it was all good and sometimes if i thought dad was doing right I would pull him up.

I guess my fustration is with the money tree concept and maybe guilt for not being there or being seen as not being a provider. mr jengs is working @ 70 hours a week to provide and the calls keep coming.

Some on here will not understand cause they haven't experienced it (YET?). I feel for you and the Mr. We are there as well. And, again, they aren't even his kids! Hell, we are getting calls from his sister in NY to support her and her 2, soon to be 3 kids. UGH!!!!!
