sol..BORING is not the freaking word for Medicare

maybe us girls on here can start up a thing for charity of some kind for JA..I know there are poor ppl here too but most can get help from the government in JA they do not have that option

I think this is a great idea, when i was in JA and I saw my primary school it seems like nothing has change from 15 years ago everything is the same. I have always wished I could rebuild the the school.

I send enough charitable contributions to JA right now. Most, against my will.

15 years...try 29 years and the school still rass look di same. I wanted to know where my donations where going and no one wanted to answer, so I started calling people from here, canada and england who were sending funds and those friggers were using the money on community affairs instead of redoing the school as promised. I'm glad they shut down that school.

curry conch? Wow..that's has to be interesting. What about chicken gizzards? I like mine fried with mustard and hot sauce. Ryan..cooked them down...i didn't even attempt to taste.

Andre made them once. I made the mistake of later telling him I ate them cause he made them; but I don't like them. Since, we've had a package of gizzards in the freezer and he refuses to touch them.

Saltfish flitters are the best. I could eat them every day. With some fried egg and plantain.....HEAVEN!

DJ made gizzards one trip when I was there - I kept telling him the whole way through the store that I was NOT eating them - he kept insisting that I would - Everyone was laughing at us in the store. He cooked them - I went to the beach and got some jerk chicken

I love flitters - We grew up on clam or zucchini ones -

FLITTERS?? Did you get that from your husbands?? Cause di youngster says that too, but I say FRitters. A JA thing??

I mean seriously JG..i think we all send "charitable" donations against our will

Portland i'm in..we can link an si weh wi can start

NYCgirl..hey..how r u?

There is a project in Negril where you buy bricks at Traveller's resort that are then used to build on schools - Or a friend of mine has started a non-profit that is building a music school in JA -

If either of those projects interest anyone, I can do a collection and we can make a mass donation -

I think a charitable thing in JA sounds like a wonderful idea :D Sending items down to JA seems like it could get tricky...maybe cash is the way to go. As for who/what/where...I really don't have any connections so hopefully someone else has something that we could all agree on.
