Portland Angel, the keys words to use on his resume will be a small business owner and consultant work. Use such words as leadership, self managed, ect.

Thanks Rox, he has been asking what type of job is available, but I do not have any experience in the blue collar industry, so I have been trying to be a bit more aware and and look at job posting in that feild just to get an idea of what's out there and what he could do.

Kimmy, made a good suggestion, go to some job fairs and get a feel of what's out there. Listern to what they are requiring of their applicants.

See, I understand what you are saying, I have no idea what jobs are in the blue collar field that does not require a trade. I know there are others here in the same position, that's why I put this question out there.

looks like im gonna have to pick up some extra hours at the foster home...cause i have my eye on a few things this holiday season. i want to get my teen a ipod touch screen thingy. i want a gps system, um some ed hardy tennis shoes, and want to buy the 10 yr old a WII and then my mom, who knows what she wants and then sending the mister his box, maybe if i drop a few more pounds i can go dance somewhere and make the money faster....lmao

i dont miss Black Friday, it is tradition to me, i will be out on thanksgiving night at the stroke of midnight armed with my sale ads, a thermos of starbucks coffee, a sweatshirt, some no doze , and the little money i save for shopping... wouldnt miss it for the world, the standing in the cold, and long lines, the stampedes to get to the registers, and then running to the car to get to the next store, by 9am in the morning your exhausted, and then you drag to a restaurant for some breakfast and then head home and sleep until 4 or 5 in the afternoon....AHHH BLACK FRIDAY how i love thee......

Honey you can have black friday! I went shopping on black friday one time when my nephew was a baby and the dumb people in the stores were so rude they almost knocked him off his grandmother's back. (You know how the African women tie the babies on their back) I had to get out of the store because I thought my sister was going to catch a case on those women! ROFL NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus i want to get dwayne something nice, i bought him some curve cologne a couple of months ago and why is it all GONE already, i said baby dont bathe in it, he said i got so many compliments on it, that my supervisor at work said if anymore comes in the barrel can he have it....LOL.. my girl who is in afghanistan/dubai, or somewhere over there said she could get me a breitling watch for a really good price, i guess those are supposed to be nice watches, anyone here familiar with them?

Portland, Try your State's Unemployment board - That usually has info about job availability, skill requirements, average wages, etc.... it can be a really good resource. Also the Dept of Labor - they have a ton of info out there.

I did sign Andre up to look around ours and to get updates when new jobs are posted. We scoured the internet and the newspapers. In the end, it was a walk by thing that ended up working.

For some reason i think it might be a dyam good knock off, she brought home some for her brothers when she was home for christmas and they looked real nice, they took them to the jewelry store to get them set and the jewelry store in the mall wouldnt touch it, sent them to Jarrods or some place? but she said she could get it for me way cheaper over there in dubai or wherever so i guess i will send her some money.

what i saw at SHADES still gives me night mares and makes me not wanna eat for days.....LOL

a human sandwich, with one of the slices of the sandwich so drunk she fell off the bed onto the floor and then someone maybe the other part of the sandwich picked her up and threw her back on the bed before going to town....( gagging at that point i covered my eyes and told Dwayne LETS GO....LMAO..neva again
