Hi Quana! (Sorry mi late on da reply)

Nanny, have you tried shea butter on your baby yet? If you can get your hands on some of that, it is some pretty miraculous stuff. Just try to get the purest stuff straight from Africa without all the additives and scents. They use it there for all kinds of things and especially for dry skin and ailments and you should see how pretty their skin is!

yup used it...that was one of the first things i got...only made it worse....they said fragrances can make it worse because it can be an allergic reaction to the chemicals....mineral oil and vasceline and the steriod cream are the only things that have helped

Kimmy she is 6 months....the pedi. said i could try her on it...to use the yobaby kind that is made just for babies..but it made her break out...

I only used A&D on their skin fo a long time. u'll ever seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding he used Windex for everything this is me with the A&D...to this day i still use baby shampoo in Kimora's hair..my girlfriend asks me what I use in her hair(she always inna some kinda competition but mi no inna it id har)Kashi replies nothing that is just the texture of Kimora's hair. Then she asks me why i said I don't see the need to wash her hair with big ppl shampoo...plus mi not going to run all ova di house wid Kimora yeye a bun har from di blasted shampoo. Oh and this same friend says to me once.."wah if u ave 1 Black baby and 1 white baby"..####### if a so a so..dem a both fi mi

wha mek har sey dat?? u and kashi di same complexion right?? my mom wa REAL light skinned and my daddy REALL dark skinned.. my sista look like a ghost while i am paper sack brown LOL.. mama's always treat the kids the same, but u know others sometimes don't .. I don't remember that ever happening to me, but I have seen it happen.. the lighter complexion getting treated differently than the darker.. People are soo stupid sometimes.

Kimmy - I agree. Your friend is a hater...

The first barber Andre went to was this white good old country boy (in Arnold, Dillon!). He came home looking like the guy put a bowl on his head and cut around it. On our wedding day, no less. I thought it was a lot funnier then my husband. I like to look at the pictures from time to time and say NICE HAIR!

:wow: I'm surprised he didn't walk out the second he walked in.

I have been wondering how C would adjust to that. He is picky.

He was desperate. He didn't drive yet and I was at work. It was the only thing he could walk to.

He was going up on Gravois near Bevo Mill. You should be able to at least find something on S. Grand near SLU or North City, I would think. Haven't you scoped out your way yet? I would think the Loop has to have some shops. Definately dont' go out to Arnold

I have there are a lot of shops in this area but the thing I don't get is how long they have to wait! I mean I have friends that get there bright and early on a Saturday and don't get out until after 1!

Are you talking about braids or some other sort of style? I know I saw your pics; but I forget what his hair looked like. I would guess that does take a while. Kimmy or SJB can advise you there. Plus, I think it is sort of a social scene. I remember barber shops in JA. Took forever in there.

Ya most of my friends are in there on a Saturday. He doesn't have braids or anything just a low cut. I will have to tell him to avoid the barber on Saturdays no matter what.

DQ~ I have always wondered this...is it first come first serve or can you make and appointment?

Can anyone answer this for me for a friend of mine. What kind of lawyer is needed if the plumbing problems in the house are the fault of the initial installment when house was purchased 5 years ago. Plumbing seal around toilet has had to be fixed 3 times. Due to the damage, the dry wall is messed up. The Plumbing has been fixed due to much argument, but they refuse to fix the other damages.

How much $$ are you talking? Might be small claims.

I dont think she got a quote on the drywall yet. Ill check. I hope they fixed her plumbing for real this time.

She should get a quote before she proceeds with anything. That will be important to the outcome.

I think I will just make sure he finds a place to go...don't think I want to take on that responsibility.

How long did you hear it from Andre? You probably still are.

A couple of weeks ago the guy who has the cube next to me had his wife cut his hair. Lets just say she forgot to put the guard on before she started so he had a much closer cut then he wanted. He sure did get razzed for about a week.

Hey Dillon. If you are taking the little one to see Santa, don't go to S. County. We saw him today. Imposing on his throne. Then, he jumped (and I do mean jumped) down and he was all of 5 foot tall. We bust out laughing. No knocks meant to any vertically challenged on here; but Santa is supposed to be big and imposing. Not looking like he could jocky those reindeer.
