Hi Quana! (Sorry mi late on da reply)

Nanny, have you tried shea butter on your baby yet? If you can get your hands on some of that, it is some pretty miraculous stuff. Just try to get the purest stuff straight from Africa without all the additives and scents. They use it there for all kinds of things and especially for dry skin and ailments and you should see how pretty their skin is!

The first barber Andre went to was this white good old country boy (in Arnold, Dillon!). He came home looking like the guy put a bowl on his head and cut around it. On our wedding day, no less. I thought it was a lot funnier then my husband. I like to look at the pictures from time to time and say NICE HAIR!

see I couldn't give no advice to RG if he comes and gets hung up about finding a barber.. I go to a different person the few times I get my hair done, depends on who is closer, cheaper or available when I need them. I am not picky at all.. RG is ...

It didn't take Damien long to find a barber. His barber has been in jail and rehab and he still won't go anywhere else...he is faithful.

OMG.....where is the horrified smiley?.....I've seen the same gal since I was a kid. In fact, I've only had 2 my entire life. Tried a few of the cheap, no appointment people and they killed my hair. Never EVER again.

Funny thing is, there is a cross dresser at the shop....Norman....Andre went once with me and freaked. Now, we have to make sure he won't be in when we go or Andre won't go with me. We barely squeeked out of there on Halloween before Norman was due to arrive as a naughty school girl. I sort of wanted to stay to see his reaction :devil:

a hot dyam mess!!!

:rofl::rofl: aww andre..

Amazingly enough, I usually get the $12 haircuts and I've always been satisfied! One time I even had a friend who normally gets $50 cuts ask me where I got my hair cut. When I told her the $12 place next to the grocery store you shoulda seen the look on her face...she was stunned! LOL

Oh yeah! The cross dresser story killed me too! How many batty mons did you have to hear after that one?? :rofl:

1. It is aggravated by heat Quana

This is so true...on occasion I get a bout of eczema and it's definitely worse when it's hot. I wonder if that baby powder with cornstarch would help?

I forgot I wanted to shout out and say Thank God for Obama, the Democrats, or whomever else is responsible and allowed me to fill up my gas tank for $35 today. It's so nice not to gasp at the $80+ it used to be.

yup used it...that was one of the first things i got...only made it worse....they said fragrances can make it worse because it can be an allergic reaction to the chemicals....mineral oil and vasceline and the steriod cream are the only things that have helped

Kimmy she is 6 months....the pedi. said i could try her on it...to use the yobaby kind that is made just for babies..but it made her break out...

My issues are just straight cuts, Kimmy. I have really thick curly hair with colics and if it's not cut right....and by right, I mean it has to be cut so that it can do whatever the hell it wants to do....like it's alive and has a mind of it's own. If I try to control it, the game it all over. The cut just HAS to be right. No one but Rose can seem to do that.

Otherwise, I am a wash and go kind of girl. I often get to work with my hair still wet.
