I am so bored today I have fallen asleep twice at my desk and I am not in a private office either.

I have a splitting headace! trying not to fall asleep!

I would rather be sleepy then having a headache. Sorry to hear that PA! I have tried everything...walking around, coffee, sugar...ugggg this day can't get over fast enough.

Try peanuts next time. Salt is what you need to help stay awake. Not all that sugar. That just makes you crash eventually.

Hello everyone,

I really do appreciate all the concerns and or advice offered. I will not give anyone the satisfaction of replying to some the inconsiderate comments that were made. Again thank you.

Sam

Good luck, Sam.

I've got a weird question/ topic....has anyone learned to braid their man's hair to save $$ here? What costs him about $3-5 US there is going to cost at least $60 here and I don't know if we'll be able to afford that (especially in the beginning before he can work). I don't want him to have to go around lookin a mess so I'm wondering how hard it would be for me to learn? Hell I'd pay $100 to learn from someone so I can do it thereafter. Am I just being too cheap? My 'maintenance' costs are very low so it's hard to imagine paying that kind of money for him to look good.

Good question. My husband has hair but I don't do hair. His hairstyle lasted a long time from JA. I think I only paid 2-3 times to get his hair done. Then he started paying once he started working. Even now he gets it done every 4-8 weeks, depending on the style. He has to keep his hair covered at work so it stays neat for a long time. He learned to live with it, used to get it done very week in JA.

Finding a stylist he liked took forever...

JG is correct if the dental office is contracted with the insurance then it should be ur copay or ur deductable plus what the contracted rate is for the insurance on routine exams. Although with crowns and such some insurance companies have a coverage max on some non routine dental care and so they require a separate deductable or quoted separately under ur dental plan. So the crown or whatever can cost $1500 but the plan only pays $500 and then ur responsible for the rest in or out of network..

That's what I hate about dental. You pay this little amount every month and then you remember why when you go to the dentist. Besides twice yearly cleanings, they don't pay for much else. I guess a little is better then nothing, though.

Hi Yardies! Just wanted to let you know that my timeline has started today! I'm nervous but happily excited at the same time! Mailed the I-129F package off and now it's just waiting and getting prepared for the next phase. Now I can sit back a little bit and just enjoy this crazy thread now that all of the gathering and assembling is done! ;)

Good luck.

So, I have to start classes in December if not I'll have to wait til March..mi no tink so....can't wait to be done taking 6 credits this semester and I have 9 plus my internship left after that...yeahhaaaa  if i didn't take this semester off I would be done by May and be able to walk the stage but I gotta graduate in August instead ..no ceremony :(

Awwww, Kimmy. I'm sorry. I'll still be proud of you when you graduate. The ceremony is just pomp and circumstance anyhow. You know you did the important part.

Tanks everyone!

My guy is a 'jacket' too (is that the right reference?) and reading up there about sending money to a lazy woman makes me worry that once he gets here she might start trying to hit him up for some $$. I'm taking all his paychecks so the only money that gets sent is to his granny! (Try not to laugh too hard at me okay?)

Jacket means she said it was his all along and it's not. That can easily be remedied by a DNA test.

The next time I decide it's a good idea to go shopping with my husband, someone smack me upside the head.

Took off today to use some more of my vacation days before I lose them at the end of the year. We hit Walgreens, the farmer's market, Wal-Mart Super Center, and the mall. You would've thought I was killing him before he got to buy himself a pair of shoes and some cologne. Geez....all sour faced and cranky for what seemed like the longest day from hell. Next time, I go by myself.

So, now, I'm sitting here by myself. I think if he didn't go to work for a while, I would be yelling by the end of the night.

I bought these soy candle melts.....in the shape and scent of cinnamon buns and sugar cookies. They are so cool. I have the cinnamon buns melting in the bathroom and it's throughout the whole house. Smells so good. Now, I am craving a big icing dripping cinnamon bun.

So the good news is that after 3 days everything has gone away and calmed down and her skin is nice and soft....so happy this has worked......they do feel when she gets older she will need to see and allergist...so we will cross that bridge when we get there...just wanted to update...

LOL! I think that's why stores and malls put benches out, to keep the men from being too much of a pain in the ###...just sit there and chill out!

Those candles sound yummy! Someone on the bus this morning was wearing something that smelled like a cross between brazil nut, cinnamon and something else....made my stomach growl!

Ha ha....hubby wanted me to shape up his cut one day with the electric clippers. One "oops" and he was cussing me and ended it by shaving all of it off. I didn't want to do it in the first place. Solved that.
