You know, I am okay with that when in a relationship or married. But, when not in that relationship anymore, I think it's kind of ####### to expect to NEVER have to work. You know?

My SIL is in NY (right now, anyhow) and she still has that mentatlity.

Anybody ever do Night Auditor work for a hotel before or know anyone who has? Just wondering what kind of work it would be.

I have a friend who just got hired here for that position. I think tonight will be his third night on the job...I will ask him what they have him doing. I know it is taking a lot out of him getting used to that schedule.

I'm with you Kimmy no tv in the bedroom. I read it kills the romance :devil: I have never had a tv in my room for that reason and I never will.

TV's in the bedroom can kill the romance - but in my case it wasn't the tv :angry:

:rofl::rofl: I'M SORRY I HAD TO PAM...

And people always wondering why I'm always talking about going to therapy. :crying::wacko:

Hi Everyone!!! Waving

This last couple of weeks has been a tornado of events. The biggest is dental work for hubby!! to the tune of almost $5000!!!!!!!!!! :crying::unsure::blink: Lord all I can tell you is he requires so much stuff to be done to his mouth and our insurance is only covering a small amount.

When I call the insurance company they give me much lower prices to pay than the dentist. However, dentist insist they are right and we are wrong. Not sure what we're going to do at this point.

Hubby says dental work in JA is much cheaper but he never was able to go because he was busy taking care of all the rest of the family and making sure they were alright - ray ray ray.

If this is true I would recomend this be added to the list of things to do before your SO comes to the states.

I saw the wonderful birthday wishes from you guys and truly want to say thank you thank you

What's being going on in the VJ world i'm so many pages behind?

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Thanks Dillon. Yeah the schedule seems killer...not sure if it would be worth it the havoc it would do to your body.

So i was just outside with hubby..his phone rings (babymodda) me..wah she want while he's on the phone :) him..mi no know yet Kimmy :lol: him..start laughing....me..wah dis..oonuh a big fren now??/ :angry: him..no, mi tell har she no call unless she want something and last time when she call fi no reason mi ask har if it a rain..and gues wah it is raining..dat woman don't call till payday..like she know how him money a mek or she a help him mek it...sh eno affi call fi get the girls money...pisses me off that she does all the freakin time...oonuh blame mi

Kimmy;

Like u no know seh dem can smell money

Its not only pickney madda calling - my ex left his youngest son with a cousin (have the same last name - from the same district). After he got here - I sent some money for him - it wasn't a week later the cousin called and said that the school said he needed his teeth cleaned and she needed some money. I was like WTH - we sent her enough money to get his teeth done. I asked my ex - I say when was the last time your son went to the dentist - he said he's never been. I blew a gasket - why was it so important to get his teeth cleaned now - he was ten and had never been to see a dentist. My children started going to damn dentist at like 3-4 years old. I understand that its different in Jamaica - I didn't believe the school would tell them that unless he was complaining of tooth pain or something. Mi tink de cousin tink I'm made of gold and have some ov de money trees growing in mi yaad. :angry:

I wish our was that simple. If they pull every tooth they plan to work on for him he would be bare mouth! :rofl: He needs root canals, crowns, bridges, and wisdom teeth pulled. :crying:

And on those dental trips - do the children get their teeth cleaned. What if the parents can't afford it? Then what happens.? The amount the cousin needed wasn't bad - but mi being a newbie to the "send money" trail I sent a nice sum the week prior to the dentist incident. Enough for at least 10 children to get their damn teeth cleaned :angry: . After this happened I told the ex - we will send money monthly and your cousin will have to make do. And if she can't then she can just wait to you start working.
