I hate to go back, but Kimmy...when you said that people treated others differently when they found out they were white up here, did they make a comment to you on the PM or was it here on the public forum, because when I try to think back, I can't recall anyone saying anything out of the way when someone revealed they were white. This really is going to bother me...

Me too. Cuz I can't remember anything direct either.

JG --

I see you were working hard this weekend.

I was. It went way too fast.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Hi Classy & Nelly. How are you two doing?

Hi Honey too. I just haven't seen those 2 in a while to ask them. I figure you will post eventually.

Hi JG and everyone else. I've been trying to catch up but I can't. I've been very busy and haven't had much time to keep up on the chatting. This weekend was my grandmother's wake (she passed 10/18) Boy I tell ya the Irish can party. My family is CRAZY, fun, and huge. Over 350 people came to the "Life Celebration" my Grandma planned. We went through 50 bottle of Bailey's... Lawny I thought of you! lol I drank some for ya. Tons of beer and wine (I am now a fanof White Zifandel). All while at a Catholic church (I thought you couldn't drink or smoke there but whatever, lmao)

Congrats Sunny and Marlita on having your men here

And Jalove congrat on the baby girl, I just know she's beautiful!

Glad it went well Classy. I remember you were struggling with it for a bit.

Lawny - how is Marcel doing? Did things work out with FedEx? Don't forget UPS and Home Depot.

Hey sjb -- Marcel is doing okay. He has 2 interviews the end of this week. With the FEDEX job, the location where he was going to work the guy couldn't hold the job any longer, because his supervisor said that they had to fill it immediately. We got the EAD 1 week too late, but it's okay. So, on to UPS and Home Depot (thanks for the heads up).

....when it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead LOOK beside you and I'll be there.....

There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

I'm pulling for UPS. Maybe he can climb that ladder and make some positive changes. I've had some real issues with UPS.
