Pam..has he tried to contact u lately ?

Funny you ask he called me at work just yesterday. I was gone to lunch. I didn't return his call - its probably his usually - he has received something and can't understand what it's asking him - like the insurance thing for his car. He doesn't have a license but he has a car - too funny. He leaves messages on my cell phone pleading for me to call him back and just help him out with papers - WTH!

I was away the week that they were here, unfortunately - but I have gone by the house, it is gorgeous - I did watch the episode.

Oh that's too bad. Most of the houses are gorgeous for real. I would be so worried that the new house would be a target for crime...since everyone knows the place is loaded with great things.

Westmoreland....thank you for chiming in. Beautifully said.

Talking about my experience on VJ to you ladies is like therapy - without a co-pay  .

Thanks for sharing Westmoreland

Thanks KK for reading and understanding (F) . A couple more sessions from VJ I should be able to be released from therapy.

LOL, KK - Truth now - you are aiming to steal JG's Chatty Cathy title!

Ha ha.....

That's a self-appointed title, KK.

I have to admit something here, Marlita. I never realized flour had a smell. You know I am going home to smell mine, now, right?

Nerve? Or just a way to remind you that he's still around? Seen that one too.

My thought for the day........I want to work for the embassy in JA. Not only do they get all the JA holidays off, they also get all the US holidays off. How cush is that????????

I used to say the same thing. Living with me and in the US lifestyle has a way of making even the most laid back guy much less patient and more excitable.

Our divorce was final September 11th. Like someone said on the board was talking about "karma" his days are starting - and they are getting worse by the day. We both work for the city here - and the other day the executive assistant from his department was asking me about him having a green card. I told her that he didn't have one - she said that he has been asked to submit it for his employee file - and he hasn't. She told me that he has been given time to comply with the greencard and if doesn't submit it within the timeframe he will be released from the position. He does have a work permit the expiration date on it is April 2009.

I believe this is the reason for his call.

It has to be living with you - because my JA friends who live here are still just as laid back and patient, lol

JG..can u just see that now..one for u and one for me...dem sayin mek it seem like there is no world w/o dem..JAeyes..open dem eyes girl..and knock ur sis in her head too....

Mrslady.....u said u met ur SO in June of this yr? Do u feel like it's too soon are u now questioning ur intent ?

Mrslady..go check out ummmwhats her name..Texasbound's profile

These men know how to play the game and they are caught up in it. No shame at this point. Marriage in December is foolish talk.

I wish I could think of all the others to point them too.

JAeyes......please slow down and really get to know this man. Visit him a few more times. Please. For your own sake, please heed our advice on this one. I've been on here over 3 years.....I have seen so many horror stories. If I can stop one person from becoming the next one, I would be happy.

I was a horror story - Not that I was used for a visa, and not by a JA man - but I fell in love and moved to fast with a man who turned out to be a cheat. I feel the same way about stopping one person from being the next - I have seen it too many times - If sharing my pain can give someone else insight, than it's worth it to me -

Some stories I have seen relating to JA men -

A guy who came here on a work visa - overstayed, convinced a 18 year old to marry him, cheated on her left and right - but got her to file for his green card then dumped her.

A man who came up on a K1 with one woman - Had two other women who I have met, whether through the net or in person, who he told he loved, used them for money - He has been here a few years and married to the one woman - but still calls the other two and tries to tell them he's leaving her, etc....

Read the forum on problems here - Read Westmoreland's story - There are good and honest people out there, and love happens where love happens - But there are plenty of people out there who pray on other's emotions.

I Can relate to horror stories too first guy i was datin in JA turned out to be liar cheat user. Glad it did not last too long. Im glad i figured it out soon enuf. But check this out, this summer i found out he was married all along! when i met him to a much much older lady! older than his mom....and living in lousiana...all i could do was laugh glad i got out before i found all that out. And found that he was so mad when i got married cuz he planned on dumping the lady and marry me hahahaa. I think she applied for him and they got denied. He was married to this woman a year prior to meeting me.
