Is anyone planning on going shopping on Black Friday?

I think I am - last year we did the outlet mall- Started at 11, shopped till 6 am! Finished most of my Xmas in one day

I've been looking at this website that lists the sales items before the stores publish them. I really don't have anything in mind that I will need to get so early.

I've never did Black Friday. I guess once we have kids and the need to buy the expensive !!!!! toys. I will have myself in the stores after Thanksgiving.

I know ur right..see, i'm so practical it's not even funny..if u can't use it u won't get it u need it u got it..my girlfriend (a must top u person) says she's gonna get her 4yr old a PSP? i'm like whats that? a hand held game..1st of all does she know how hard u have to work for that $200 or whatever it costs? kids must understand why they are getting things not just because..my opinion. Kimora now know's that daddy and mommy goes to work so we can eat..

I agreee with you Kimmy - I had friends who were at Kohls, etc.. last year and they saw fights - weaves ripped and all! We did Westbrook and it wasn't bad - Old Navy was chaos when we got there - but their sales were all night so we waited to shop there - Other stores were not bad, and we had 6 of us - whoever finished first stood in line, we pooled our purchases, then divided up who owed who at the end of the night - Worked great.

I wouldn't do the outrageous gifts like that for kids - I have 4 nephews - for Christmas, they each get an outfit and a book. For their birthday, I will do more fun stuff or things they want -- noisy presents they call them, lol - But I am still not a top of the line person - My oldest nephew (10) loves music - I bought him a stereo for his room, since he had just gotten his own room. But, I bought him a $50 table top thingy from Walmart - He loves it.

LOL - I have friends like that too - But this bunch, 3 are cousins - the others, we have been through it all together, I am closer to them than to my sister.

Funny...husband wanted a dog once he came up. Why the next day after we bring the dog home...he want to take her back...saying she doo doo in the house..he can't understand why she don't know to use bathroom outside. I told him we have to train her...she didn't come trained.

She is trained now. Thanks goodness.

Depends on what is on sale. Usually me and my momma go together (sometimes my dad too). I usually do the bulk of shopping that day because the sales are good.
