Thats really nice Clairey, i'm a writer too i will write up a storm to express myself. I can imagine how much both of u have invested. My husband was the same way and i was trying to let him understand we are equal. This is where family should come in and help in the adjustment in my situation hubby's mother would have been a fabulous asset instead she made it very difficult in the beginning but now he has made tremendous efforts. like i said go for it !

Claire, I agree with the advice everyone has given - You have to follow your heart, but use your mind as well - take things slow, see how things progress, work on it together -- if it is meant to be, it will be - Kimmy's idea is a good one - have him come for a visit - I wouldn't jump to moving in together, but I wouldn't turn my back on the possibility that you will make it as a couple - What doesn't break you only makes you stronger in the end. I wish you luck, and you know we are always here for you!

JG, you are sad with the shampoo bottle, lol - Although I guess I am the same bc I won't take a bath without my book (unless I have company, lol). I will read just about anything, but mainly fluff stuff - I read so much serious ####### at work and school that I want mindless.

Some of my favorites are JD Robb, Nora Roberts, Janet Evonovitch, Eric Jerome, Dickey, Tess Garritson, Sandra Brown - I also love legal thrillers and mysteries -

I started the Sista Souljah last night - it is actually a sequel to Coldest Winter Ever, for those who read that - it tells the story of Midnight - really really good so far - but I had to put it down - have to do my homework before I can read it, lol

Clarern if you feel it is worth trying then try! I don't know why people would be negative I know I am a person that believes in trying for the sake of trying especially if you have a lot invested in the relationship and if the good parts can be salvaged why not try? GOOD Luck I will be praying for your guys!!

I just noticed Portlandangel timeline........hhhmmmmmmm is there hope that it will be a speedy process or did she get some sort of rush?? I129 sent 9/08 and an interview 11/08? Is that right??
