i met RG on vacation about a year and a half ago..

i had just got off the stage at Margaritaville Mobay :D when my gf litearally dragged me outside to meet her friend's friend (RG) who was bored

He was quiet, but I am a TALKER esp when I have been pulled out of a fun dance club on my vacation, so he wasn't quiet for long LOL We walked the strip and talked for hours, then over by dead end beach we didnt realize the time until we noticed the sunrising. We were inseparabale from that point on. If I wasn't busy w/ my girls he would drive up to Sunset from his job at the airport and we would just sit and chill in the parking lot, KFC, or the nyam and jam. Wasnt until this June or so that I realize I am in love w/ him and we could really be more than just a LDR/BF/GF..

absolutely KK....

I just know myself and I would be walkin while on vacation and someone guy try to talk to me and me tellin him..this will never work..and not in a very friendly way..did i tell y'll i'm not very friendly :innocent:

a more so if i know that country is a high visa fraud country...mi woulda be soooo skeptical to he point mi wouldn't even bodda wid no relationship

Kimmy, ah lie you a tell - You not friendly?:whistle:

I agree with you somewhat - However, I find that I tend to meet people more when I am on vacation than at home - Dated a great guy for a long time who lived in Baltimore, actually - I think it's because I am so busy at home, when on vacation I tend to let my hair down and be more approachable.

Now, as far as the LDR thing / visa thing - I SWORE I would never go there again - I wouldn't wish what happened in my life on my worst enemy. I have travelled to many spots - Met guys, laughed, danced, hung out, had fun - It ended there - Then I ran into DJ again. Sparks flew, but I still said I wasn't going there again - I came home, we talked, he kept pressing on when I was coming back - I avoided the subject,.............. then he bought me a ticket - the rest, is history.

I do believe in love at first sight -naive sounding, I know - but everyone I have ever dated, I knew from hello if it was something, or just a fling. I can't turn my back on happiness, just because of where I met him or where he lives.

I want to hear the answers just out of curiosity. I,however, do not think any way you meet a Jamaican man has much bearing on anything at all. It's all about the individuals involved.

is that a little nieve ?

No. I try not to have preconceived notions of anyone if I can help myself.

I think it is more to make it not so stretched out and that kind of thing. Bring back that "tightness" that you lose after childbirth etc.

That's almost exactly what I say, Sus. I'm a big girl. I can live with my decisions. And, I REFUSE to live my life thinking "what if." I go for what I believe in. If my endevours crash and burn, so be it. At least I know I tried.

And, Kimmy, I should not have really said "Jamaican man". I really meant to say all men.

She was here but then gone in a flash :( I wish she would come around more often.

I was supposed to see her tomorrow. :crying:

i told rg from day one..this is nothing more than a friend thing!!! I did not want a relationship PERIOD let alone a LDR after my marriage just ending. I ran w/ a crew the frequented JA and had guy friends there for years that never turned into more than that, so I told RG thats what we would be.. just buddies that kick it when I come down..

after a few mnths he called himself my boyfriend one day and I was like "WHOA..who said u were my boyfriend?" he said, well I might not be ur boyfriend, but u are my girlfriend..

u just can't fight ur feelings but its nothing wrong w/ trying :jest: .. i was very cautious not only for me cuz i mean he knew I was still married, no fast golden ticket here buddy, but I told him.. "how do u know I am not some woman that has fell in love on the rebound" (heck how did I know I wasn't??!!) or that I just was in love w/ ur JA accent. I trusted in the end if we were to be then we would be..

No - that archaic stuff is horrific.

It is this new thing in cosmetic surgery. Surgery to make you tighter and more "youthful looking" down there.

Jullybean too busy.

I met my hubby at HI no shame it admitting that. I was in Jamaica for 4 weeks last September and I stayed a different resorts because we had 3 wedding in one DAMN month. It was crazy. My dad was doing renovations on his house and I wanted to get away from family and the madness, so my son and I stayed at HI. Funny thing is, we were suppose to either be at Starfish, FDR or RIU. My girlfriend had reservations at HI and she was bring her kids and they stay FREE so, we headed that way. I'm so glad I did. I was so MEAN to Marcel though. A lot of the men were running game with their RUDE arguments, but when I LICK them with the PATWAH they backed the hell up. Then I'm hit with, see why mi tek di yard ooman dem...haaaaaaaa U BAXIDE. Anyway he was admiring me from a far and he'd given up on trying to get my attention. So, I went to do laundry and here he was getting ready to go through the staff door and he stopped to chitchat...he was so POLITE and that DAMN smile (that's what did it).
