Doesn't bother me at all. I really feel like people are people. And for the most part we have some of the same experiences when it comes to relationship Black, White, Purple or Red.

Good Topic

Don't think I've saw this topic on her before.

And I wonder how would it matter?? Isn't that what we are all here for? Just curious.......not stirring the pot!

Hey Kimmy...if you're asking does it bother me any to know that some of the women up here are white women marrying black jamaican men, then my answer is NO!:no: So long as they're not marrying MY Jamaican man! Seriously though, I'm up here half the time and don't know who is what color or what unless they decide to post a pic. What matters is the experience and the realness of the relationship. And no matter who is married to who, there seems to be some commonality in experience that can only be found when being married to a Jamaican Man.

MrsPalmer- you are one wise woman! Your input is always appreciated by me! You put a real spin on all the things you reply to. Thanks (L)

Thanks MrsLady...but I just don't understand why anyone would have such a big problem with it. I mean the question could also be turned around into what issues Black Americans have with marrying ANYONE outside of their own culture, and particularly from cultures that are considered "less" or more deprived than others. Some people that I know, and in my own family had issues with me marrying "a Jamaican"---like Jamaicans are lepors, or whoremonging, thieving trolls or something. It all plays in to what others people's stereotypes of people are and I have just never played into that. I honestly believe that if you find someone who is good to you, makes you happy, is honest, and is willing to do whatever he/she can to take care of you, love, honor, and respect you--then by all means PLEASE be with them--or else I WILL! I ain't passing up no good thang when I see it! Mama taught me better than that! Bottom line is you can't let others influence your decision to be happy, regardless of race, culture, creed, gender, whatever. If you do, you'll live a miserable life making everyone else happy, but YOU!

Well, I don't care what the race of the individuals are, as long as they respect them as men. I hate it when I hear people say, well he better do this because I made it possible for him to be here. No, that is not correct, Men should be treated like Men.

I remember part one too. Wow.

What a cute pumpkin!!

I sort of thought that originally. But, in the end, it didn't matter. We will be at least 3 years before we go back. Maybe longer if it's true about there's a warent out for him.

What are you talking about JG?????

His mom called yesterday to say she got a court appearance ticket in his name. They caught them stealing water again and took it all out. Now, they want him to pay for the water they were stealing. Keep in mind, he's been gone for 2.5 years. They sure are on the ball. His mom said she didn't know who he was and that she was renting the place.

Now, we are wondering if by the time we end up going back, they will have some sort of warrent out for his arrest. Wouldn't that be fun at the airport??????

OMG English your older son is a handsome fellow he's gonna have the girls go crazy :) those eyes.. ur very blessed

I was thinking that. Does he have long beautiful lashes? Sure looks like it. Gorgeous children, JAE.

JAEng, your older son is beautiful! His eyelashes are to die for!

I think I am finally warming up - I spent the day at my nephew's football championship game - so tough, they went undefeated all season, then lost this game in OT - the other team was rough, lots of leg twisting and unfair hits - our team had 4 kids hurt.

I pray that I have a little girl when I have a child - this weekend has made me realize that I don't like being a football mom, lol!

I took my Mom to see Reba McIntyre / Kelly Clarkson last night - the show was incredible, one of the best concerts I have been too -

Reba is the BOMB, isn't she? We just love her. I've seen her with Brooks & Dunn. Yesterday, we were cleaning the house and Andre put my iPod on all the Reba songs. And, we watch reruns of her show over and over again. Just love her!

I love my boy for his boy things and my girl for the girlie things we get to do. Both are just as nice to have.
