sept 16/08 check cashed

sept 18/08 received NOA

sept 29/08 received biometrics letter

oct 7/08 biometrics done

The one thing that was remarkable so far is that the biometrics building had a large hall with ropes to guide people into various lineups but that i was there with only 1 other person getting tested. There were about 7 employees there to take care of the 2 of us.

WPB field office is actually where my application's at too, i filed Aug 18, 2008. FP Sept13, still waiting for IL

Office was just as empty when i went in for FP, i was actually the only person there, was thinking I would have received my IL by now. BTW i am a first time poster, nice to see someone posting that recently filed at the same field office as I did

It's been exactly 2 months since i've done my FP and still no IL, what should I do? Infopass or wait it out? It's showing west palm beach with a processing time of 6.1 months. i applied Aug 18. Any advice please?

i work with someone who went through the process here. apparently the IL arrives about 5 weeks before the interview. if you calculate back from the 6.1 months the 5 weeks, and then add more for the time to the oath (couple week's) then you might figure it could be 4 months into the process before the IL arrives. its just my figuring anyway.

then i guess we both have good news. i just got my IL friday. my numbers are the same as yours except that the interview is january 8. by the time i have my oath, probably early 2009, i'll have waited almost 10 years for citizenship.
