Fresh candy corn.

Last year my son donated about 90% of his candy to a day homeless shelter. He was so proud of the letter he go thanking him for his donation that he is doing it again this year.

Am I the only one that can't stand candy corn? Noggin (for those of you with kiddos) has a new song they've been running for weeks called "No, I don't like candy corn" The part about "I would rather eat my feet" cracks me up

Anyway Aaron started asking me why I don't like it and I didn't have much of answer but that it makes me sick. So Jihed just HAD to have it to try, so out we went to buy a big bag and wouldn't you know that he ate the ENTIRE bag in one night. Loves the stuff.

I'm more of a chocolate person, so I have to check Aaron's candy to be safe of course  and wouldn't you know that all of those mini Hershey's bars are just totally unsafe for him to eat, looks like someone peeled the plastic back already. Wait that was me

PS BIG Kudos to the candy to the Homeless shelter. That's one sweet kiddo you have :luv:

Candy Corn, Peeps...and anything I can grab out of the little rascal's bags when I dump my cheap candy in..

Candy Corn & Peeps FTW!!!!1

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

I hate candy corn. I don't know why but I still have to eat them or it's not Halloween. I like the first two but after that they're sickly sweet and I get a tummy ache.

I just broke open my first candy and am very proud of myself for holding back. Granted we just bought it last night and I'm afraid of eating anything at all these days. lol. I had a mini skittles packet. Orange are my favorite.

When I'm not eating lowfat my fav is Reeses peanut butter cups. Megan, my youngest, is allergic to peanutbutter so i always have to go through her stuff to weed out any peanut products. I always feel so bad but it works out because Emily's not allergic so normally she'll trade her for some tootsie rolls or skittles and all is well in the world of candy. She used to be sooo cutie pie trick or treating. I remember she was 3 and would go right up to the person at the door and say "trick or treat I'm allergic to peanut products!" and give a big azz smile. Sometimes the people would have to scrounge for something non peanut because they only had reeses.

I miss those days when they'd dress up as princesses. :crying::crying: Emily would always arrange her candy by size and color and make a long train-like thing with them. She'd always get so upset because Megan would just throw hers in a big pile and start eating it.:rofl:
