Can the bank charge fees for an account that has been closed?

I am not sure how much your NSF is, but you can choose not to pay it. If it is for a little amount of money - it could go to collections. But remember for something to go to collections - the bank has to pay for this expense. Typically they will write off debts of small amounts of money because they'd spend more money than its worth trying to collect on it.

I guess I'm the only one here who thinks its a stupid waste of time for the bank to say - ####### ever they don't bank here anymore - it isn't worth the hassle.
