Obama's going to be in Indianapolis sometime tomorrow. He isn't announcing where exactly, as he "doesn't want to disrupt the voting process". He's only said that it will be a polling place. Wish I was in Indy and knew where he was gonna be. He's my Messiah and The Prophet, after all.

I wish I could! It's been GORGEOUS here.... 70s the past few days. And what am I doing? Sitting on my ####### because I've had my first gout attack in 4 years. Right foot, of course. Cycling shoes don't even fit at the moment. I'm hoping it's better tomorrow....I could sneak a ride in then. Work all day Wednesday. Then Thursday we have thunderstorms.

Edit: And yes, I've really quit. Haven't had a ciggie since July 19th. Commit nicotine lozenges on the other hand....I think I'm addicted to them.

a painter in Millennium Park yesterday

There were so many reporters and trucks with satellite dishes on them and people selling t-shirts and others selling buttons.

It was so fun to be there.

I didn't stay all night...just until it got dark and cold and I was dressed for heat.
