You're thinking of the religion of perpetual outrage. Good thing Obama's nickname isn't 'the Prophet'. Heads would roll....... literally.

Also completely false notion It's just more selective reading of what is and isn't acceptable behaviour according to biblical teaching. I can't view it as blasphemy because I don't believe in god but I don't think the same can be said of others who have coined the term.

I would have thougt that even if people no longer consider blasphemy as sinful, the very least it would be disrespectful. I can imagine the outrage if one of Obama's supporters had got that line in first.

Anyway, I don't really care, but it's interesting to note who feels that it's a perfectly acceptable use of the word, at least to me.
