Hi. We were asked by US embassy to submit my husband's employment letter and have it notarized. My husband has just finished studying and now just got a job. My question is, Is it ok to submit the employment letter to US embassy even if he just started working? Consul said that it should state when job started and how much is salary. Is it ok to put the annual income even if he just started working? Can we also put the yearly income on the I-134 even if the yearly income will still be generated next year? Please share some advices.. thanks so much...

Yes, I would submit the letter.with the start date, monthly salary, what the annual salary will be. and make sure the letter states the job is a permanent position. doesn't say anything about the letter being notorized in the instructions though, it just says to put it on company letterhead. but if they ask for it to be notorized then I would do it.

i just got mine and it starts of course with my name, saying i started in xxx position in xxx year at the salary of xxx income. It is on company letterhead and certified

well, I believe its the signature that is notorized. so if he can get his employer to have it notorized than thats great. if not he might want to add a short note stating,... I swear this letter to be an original and / or accurate copy of employment verification from my employer. and have his signature notorized
