Is there a particular waiting period before receiving Packet 4?

Is there a Maximum time length that the Embassy must send Packet 4 by???

We still have not received it and its almost been a month!!!!!

I am sure there will be a cap in which they have to send you packet 4 but you really don't want to wait for that period. Email embassy and ask them if you can pick up packet 4 directly from the embassy. If so, please visit the embassy and save some time. Meanwhile, also contact DOS and ask them if your interview is already scheduled and also confirm with them that you want to pick up packet 4 from the embassy.

I know different countries do different things, but we got packet 4 via e-mail (my request, I am the USC). I was asked to forward it to my fiance. Don't know if this is an option for you.
