Has everyone been enjoying the shortened time diff this week?

As much as I get thrown off by the time changes in the Spring and Fall, I am happy that the UK turned their clocks back a week earlier than the US this year. It's so nice to be able to speak to my fiance a little earlier than usual. Next week it's back to a 5-hour time difference, but I've enjoyed it while it's lasted. Now, if only someone could manage to shorten the distance as well... :P

I was totally thrown off. I changed my clock just before I went to sleep on everything, MP3 player, Phone clocks and thought "way hey, I am doing great here" , got on the net to talk to my man (situated in Baltimore MD) at the usual 6pm (here ) and wondered why he wasnt online, of course I realised a couple days later, the USA havent gone back an hour yet :D .

We also have a 5 hour time difference so I am enjoying talking to my Honey at an earlier time !

I am not looking forward to America putting their clocks back tomorrow night, I was enjoying a decent nights sleep for a change, now I will be back to 5 1/2 hours sleep a night, but rather that than only talking at weekends

Its been great! I work late and commute 2 hours each way, so by the time Im home he's getting back not long after. We then have most of the evening to chat. Altho I keep almost missing our morning chat when he wakes up - usually its on my lunchhour but now its like 11.30 and Im sometimes stuck in meetings. lol

It's not so bad for us as in Bahrain they don't change their clocks at all and it means we can talk for an hour longer. Before I had to wait an hour longer to talk to him depending on what time he woke. If he wakes at 11pm (he works nights), previously I had to wait until 9pm UK time to speak to him. Now I only wait until 8.

Hmmmm well on the west coast its not so helpful, as we have 8 hours difference, one of our slots is to talk last thing at night (USA) and first thing in the morning (UK) so the loss of an hour means I have to get up at 6am instead of 7am. Still, looking on the bright side, I will be over there living with him by the time the US clocks go back too :)
