And I think it's human instinct to try to help someone who's screaming in pain and who's trying to kill himself.

I can't understand why, if someone wants to kill themselves, they could do it in this manner. I mean, taking an overdose I can understand (to some extent), but setting yourself on FIRE? It must be the most painful way to die imaginable.

I've had personal experience with suicide and really feel for the family.

As for the method used, people are in a different place when they're in that situation. Seriously, logic and reasoning aren't there any more.
