Dear everyone,

Let's all hope this is a hoax or that I am misinformed. Heard a multitude of screams outside my office at the University of Washington in Seattle.

It appears someone set him/herself on fire in our main square (aka Red Square). The plaza has been cordoned off and the sirens went off. News choppers are flying over campus as I type this.,

Let's please set aside our differences for two seconds.

This is tragic and I am pretty shaken. :(

I see a bunch of people tried to put out the flames.

Why do people do that?

He obviously wanted to kill himself. Now, if he lives, he'll be even more depressed and miserable due to massive burns. His quality of life will be nil.

I would be SO pissed if it were me.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
