Hello to all,

I just wanna ask what is the best time to attend CFO Seminar, Before your Interview or After your Interview (when you have a Visa) because just thinking time consuming if you attend for a Seminar before Interview and get a Certification and Back again when you have your visa for the sticker, so Just asking your Opinion fellow Pinay what Is the best time for CFO Seminar, Is it OK to attend a Seminar when you receive your Visa so you don't need to go back for the sticker can I get my sticker on the same day!!

And Is it true that you have to call 4 to 5 days before you make an Appointment for Seminar, Can I walk-In?. Thank You in advance for a reply... And to all who read my Post,. I am Asking to you'r humble prayer for my Interview on November 3, (Monday).. Anyone who have the same Schedule just meet you there at the Embassy., God Bless to Us..

I had my CFO seminar at St. Mary Euphrates right after my interview. the seminar is just 2 hours. you just need to bring with you your birth certificate, NBI clearance or any ID with your name and photo, pen. photocopy it.. and then.. they just told me to go back when i receive my visa. its so easy.. i just went back and they gave me my certificate and sticker on my passport with visa.

You dont need to call for an appointment for the seminar.

Feb.25, 2009 - Took NCLEX-RN -- PASSED--- Anais,RN

March 9, 2009 - Green Card received

March 31, 2009 - Got a JOB!!! PCU nurse in the making...

I waited for my visa until I went to CFO seminar. In my own opinion, it is better to attend the seminar when you already have your visa so that you no longer have to go back and have your passport stamped with the sticker. The discretion is up to you actually. If you don't feel like going back and forth to the CFO office, then you can have your seminar after you got your visa.

I had my seminar in Cebu and there is no need for you to call them to attend it as long as you will go there early to register.

Good luck in your interview. You will do great. :thumbs:

the is no best time or best day to attend the CFO. it just depends on you as to when you wanted to attend the seminar. i attended my CFO right after i got my visa just so to avoid going back for certificate and the sticker if i attend it without visa on hand. i live far from the CFO seminar venue and i hate traffic so i waited for my visa to arrive to do everything in one day's time and not go back..

and NO, you don't need to call for reservations or something. but in cebu, they have aquota of CFO participants per day (15 participants), so i guess it's wise to arrive early..

It would be better if you attend the seminar after you got the Visa, since you can just get everything done in one day. because after you attend the counseling and have your certificate, you'll be ask to proceed to CFO main to have your sticker. Edited by my_panacea = Greg

If you live in Manila, there are 2 places to attend to, one is near De Lasalle taft and other one is in Quezon city. I attended mine at PRISM which is near De Lasalle taft, I went there around 8:30am and finished around 10am and went to CFO office for sticker. It would be better to attend your seminar after the delivery of your visa so it won't be hassle for you to go back..I would advice too to go early so you can hear all the matters that they will discuss cause if you're late they won't repeat again.

11-23-07- Medical though the exact date was Nov. 29..

01-16-98- Attended CFO

01-18-08- Arrived in USA , POE-Guam

03-16-08- Wedding

04-17-08- Submitted the AOS

No Interview, No RFE and Additional Vaccination( just used the SLEC medical docs)
