Can't view status of case online

Our check was cashed yesterday and I have the case# from the back of the cancelled check, but when I enter it into the USCIS system I get this message: :angry:

"Case Status Retrieval Failed

This Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center."

Anyone else get this? Will it let me view it online eventually?

04/14/2009 - NVC Received

04/15/2009 - NVC Left

04/17/2009 - Consulate Received

04/20/2009 - Packet 3 downloaded

04/23/2009 - Packet 3 Sent

04/23/2009 - Packet 4 Received (email w/appt. date)

05/20/2009 - Medical Exam - Vancouver

05/19/2009 - Interview In Vancouver for K-3 (Interview from hell)

05/20/2009 - Dropped off Medical at Consulate, No Visa- Told we are in AP

06/03/2009 - Email from Consulate-Visa mailed

06/05/2009 - Visa In hand

06/06/2009 - US POE, Winnipeg

EAD

06/14/2009: mailed I-765

06/24/2009: NOA1

07/06/2009: Recv'd Biometrics letter/appt. for 7/25

07/07/2009: walk in Biometrics early

08/04/2009: Card Production ordered!

08/10/2009: EAD card in hand!

NVC I-130

04-01-09: I-130 NOA2 (Approved) 155 days @ CSC

06/24/2009 : case complete at NVC

CR-1 Interview

11/25/2009: Interview at MONTREAL, CANADA (approved)

11/28/2009: Visa in hand (picked up from consulate)

12/14/2009: Permanent Residence Card in hand!

Employment at Wells Fargo Bank on Nov. 9, 2009

Done until lifting conditions... yeah!

Case number assigned at NVC : 05-18-2009

Case Completed at NVC : 08-03

Interview scheduled: 08-13

Embassy

medical : done 08-17 + pick up 09-08

Interview Date: 09-08-09

Visa received : 09-11-09 valid till 03-10-10

October 10th entered US with Visa Waiver Program for 2 weeks holidays (not usual with visa received!)

had to go through secondary inspections to explain

November 25th entered again US with WVP, officer did not notice my green card visa

left US on dec 28 to avoid meeting the substantial presence test for IRS

Jan 9 2010 entered and activated green card though PHL port of entry

waiting for SSN requested with DS230 and 10 years GC

01-30 received tracking number for GC Welcome issued on 01-27

but not yet SSN

SSN expected by Feb 20 else I might go and ask for one regardless of DS230

GC expected by March 27

Feb 3 2010 update card ordered says to allow for 30 days

Feb 8 2010 update saying approval notice sent

Feb 12 2010 received GC card Permanent resident valid till 2020

Feb 18 2010 went to file ss5 for ssn card as not yet received and center would not find me in ssn files

03-05-2009 E-mail notification: RFE sent

03-09-2009 received RFE in the mail

03-09-2009 RFE sent back

03-10-2009 RFE delivered

03-11-2009 RFE received and case resumed

When I sent in my I-130 and typed in the case number on the copy of my cancelled check, mine didn't show up either. However, when I recieved my NOA1 the case number was actually one number off. The last # from my cancelled check ended in a 6 and on the NOA1 it ended in a 7. That # showed up on line. Now for my I-129f I have recieved the NOA1 but the case # for the I-129 still doesn't show up in the system and for the I-130 is unchanged.
