Do I need to go to see my spouse more than once?

I visit my husband every other month. It's expensive and I lose alot of money by not working, but it's okay. Thank God, we can afford it. If you're able to afford it, then visit...if not, then they have to understand. I doubt the workers at USCIS can afford to go overseas often, so they can't judge you for not being able to go... but then again, they do whatever they feel like without any repercussions.

I suppose you can only try to collect proofs and evidences and hope it's enough.

No, the USCIS workers do not have to understand. They won't need to because it will be a Consular Officer (Dept. of State, not USCIS) that does in fact "judge" whether the relationship is bona fide. The middle east is not the Netherlands. If you can't, you can't but count on being judged anyway. That's their job.
