Good morning everyone, I hope all is well with my mena family. USCIS has finally started working on my case again after I talked to a really sweet woman at USCIS. I know it's shocking to actually have a person over there that actually cares about our feelings  anyways....she put in to have our case expedited since on the approved I-130 it stated it was suppose to be sent to the NVC back in November 2007.

Since I have had that pleasant conversation with her USCIS has touched my approved I-130 and my I-824 3 times already this week!! Until recently my approved I-130 has not been touched since November 2007 and my I-824 that I filed and dished out $340.00 for them to fix their mistake and send NVC my approved I-130 petition was touched in September the day they cashed my check....it doesn't take them long to take our money now does it

I hope to hear some good news this week or next week. It is going to be mine and Hassan's 2nd year wedding anniversary tomorrow which is October 31st (I know halloween it's crazy....wasn't planned for that certain day...long story :lol:) and one of these years we would like to spend it together!! This process has been so long and frustrating for us. We started all of this back in 2006 and we hope and pray this will be the year we will finish this and start our lives together inshallah. Please pray for us everyone and my prayers are with everyone here who is waiting to be with their loved ones aswell.

Have a great day everyone!! I need to get to Starbucks and buy me my daily white chocolate mocha coffee!! :luv:

I agree, it IS about dang time! I'm wishing you both all the best, Melissa !

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

We are in Kuwait also.. You know if you are only working in Kuwait and have residency, the process here is too quick.. I had mine processed within just 2 months, including medical and interview..

But anyhows goodluck!

Melissa that is great news. I cannot believe you have had to endure such complete and utter irresponsibility and lack of concern. Good things are moving and hope it wouldnt take much longer for you now.

I wish for some extra prayers as well as my husband's physical and mental health is deteriorating and I am seriously worried about losing him before he gets his Visa, it is near 6 months now in AP. I dont know what to do.

We are both in sheer distress. :crying:

It is still at the USCIS? Wow, just wow. I hope it gets done soon.

On the bright side that means he can come on the IR1 rather than the CR1. Much better!

Thank you everyone for all of your responses and support. (F) I will keep you all updated throughout this process.

Now I just wish Hassan and I could be together for our 2 year anniversary tomorrow but I'm not going to let that get me down because I know we will be reunited soon and all of this will just be a distant memory and we will spend the rest of our anniversaries together. :luv:

I'm praying for you Sandrila and the rest of you guys who are still waiting to be with your loved ones. Inshallah we will all have good news soon!!
