Dude, forget about the tax increase he promises,,, that's nothing.

Now we have all heard (in the last days) the unearthed clips which Barack expresses himself freely

about his socialist mind-set.

Danno maybe you can start a support group with all the right wingers when McCain loses on Tuesday. You can all sit around & ###### about stuff that's actually not real.

What exactly is it that's "Not real"... Obama's own words?

The man is rated more Liberal than anyone else in the Senate.

Here, let's read from his own Book;

Obama wrote in his memoir about who he was drawn too in collage, from "Dreams From My Father. "The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists."

Was this the crowd you or your friends gravitated too in collage?

Danno like I've said 7487 times the right wingers inject rhetoric, half-truths, stereotypes & flat out lies in practically everything they say & your post is a perfect example of this. Give me some actual facts & I will take you seriously. Give me rhetoric & nonsense and I will treat it as such.

I quote Obamas own book and you still deny the existence of reality... what hope is there for you my friend?

The piper is calling... Go quickly.

Anything taken out of context by illogical people is not exactly consonant with being rational.

Why do you hesitate to put it "in" context, so we might understand better why he was drawn to

revolutionaries of thought, such as Marxist types?

Is this something you did in collage?

Oh come on, you can't tell me that when you went to university (if you did, I have no clue) you weren't drawn to new ideas or worldviews you hadn't come across yet in your education? What's wrong to learning more about stuff? It's called broadening your mind and perspective.

I had friends who were paid up members of the British version of the communist party, members of the socialist party and here's the shocker for you, friends who were members of the liberal and conservative parties too. Wow, what a completely ###### up person I must be for being 'drawn' in all these different directions

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Again, nobody takes you or your fellow right wingers seriously for exactly the reasons I listed. I'm not a liberal, not even a democrat, and very likely have more real world experience than you. Again when you & your pesos actually present information, and not BS, I will listen. Try a site like www.factcheck.org, they are quite objective & tell the truth.

Nothing wrong with a little diversity of thought, in fact Barack might have benefited from Just that!

Is this something you did in collage?

In college I associated with books, homework, and girls.

In college I also associated with all kinds of people from all kinds of political, social, and religious perspectives- never allowing myself to be indoctrinated. Don't know about you though...

Please don't play footsy with me, ...did you seek out Marxist or not?

We all have friends from a wide range of political thought, but I never even knew of anyone that was a Marxist.

Evidently you never expanded your horizons very much.

I had friends who were atheists, ageists, anarchists, communists, radical authoritarian favoring religious conservatives, all over the board. And I didn't even expand my horizons as much as I could have, being finicky.

All Obama is doing is tax those making over 250K more... his tax cuts for the middle class are actually about the same or even deeper than McCain's, while McCain will cut taxes for the rich. This has absolutely nothing to do with Marxism or socialism and what's really pathetic is that the vast majority of McCainiacs are from the middle class! I'm also guessing that most, if not all, of the right wing posters here make less than 250K as well so all I can say is :wow:

I might agree with what you posted as far as comparing the two tax plans.

What the above is referencing is the part of Obama... that has a lot of people concerned.

He has always been drawn toward a more socialist ideology.

Up stream I quoted from Obamas very own book where he talks about seeking out radicals and Marxist.

I simply asked if this was everyones experience in collage? Did you seek out radicals and Marxists?

Like most people I have a wide variety of political though in my friends and family, yet I know no one who is or was a Marxist.

All Obama's friends and mentors seem to be fringe characters.

Many people worry a guy like this as President with both houses of the same party will have no check or balance.

While we can elect someone new in 4 more years, all his new programs will be with us a long, long time.

in fact, Gov't programs are the only proof we have of, eternal life.
