I stopped using chapstick altogether some years ago...I found I had to keep using it or my lips always felt dry. Now if I do get chapped lips I just use vaseline for a couple of days...I have a huge pot so I'm not tempted to carry it around and keep applying it.

hmmm

I knew I was going to regret mentioning my huge pot of vaseline phew4.gif

i'm not going to ask about the vaseline - chapped lips connection. :innocent:

Coconut oil, FTW!. As for chapstick type things, Bren swears by the one they sell at Trader Joe's. If the lips are really really chapped, I go with Blistek medicated.

Blistex gets my vote! Have you ever tried blistex complete moisture? It has this weird wetness to it. I call it "lip spit".

I think I'll have to go get some of this lip spit stuff. Is it the stuff in the white tube? If it is then I call it "lip cum"

I swear by the Blistex medicated lip balm that comes in the little blue tubs -- it is the best I have come across to heal my lips when they get super sore or chapped. Anything else feels like wax.

The absolute best is Alba Lip Balm. Its 82% certified organic and made mostly of coconut oil. Good for hot sunny days at the beach.

Tastes yummy too.

I love those two, available in Europe only though:

https://www.pharmakontor.com/images/medico200/2605026.jpg (It is from Bayer, Bepanthol Lip Creme)

And Alverde Calendula organic chapstick, it's really good and cheap... If anyone of you guys ever go to Germany or Austria anytime soon, the Alverde stuff at DM drugstore is super cheap, organic and really good.... I soooo love it! I just ran out of the face soap from them and had to buy something here, I got pimples right away :(
