Confusion of dates

Hello All,

I am going to be completing my I-129F packet by November 4th with all the dates on my applications as November 3rd.

However I wish to send the packet in end of november. Will this be a problem causing factor with Service Center?

Is it a requirement to have the same date on letter of intent from both me and my fiance?

I can't imagine it being a problem - letter(s) of intent don't have to have the same date.

Hi, where are you going to be sending the I-129F extension to please, do you have an address? Any light you can shed on this for me would be fantastic. My Fiancee and I are thinking we need to request to be safe, I live in England and she lives in USA.

Yeah, our I-129F expires on February 15 December 2008. I am thinking we may not get the interview date before February then and so would like to apply for extension of I-129F.

If you're referring to the 4-month period an approved I-129f is valid for, you don't need to do anything - the consulate/embassy has the authority to extend this 4-month period and as a matter of routine, does so on it's own. Is this what you are referring to?

(It's difficult to give a detailed explanation for your case since you're timeline is empty.)

There are certain circumstances, when the delay is caused by the couple usually, that the Consulate will require a request for extension. If it is your doing (delayed sending in P3/info packet..etc, then you will probably want to contact the Consulate you are dealing with and request it just to be absolutely certain.

They may ask for another letter of intend from the american citizen confirming he is still willing to marry the beneficiary. That's what they ask for in Paris in order to extend the NOA2 after 4 month. they say it's not a problem...

but definitely check with the consulate.
