I'm done with my interview today and it's approved! finally! i felt like I'm gonna have a heart attack waiting for my number to be called! I was there at 6am my schedule is at 7am and I finished at 10:30am. It was very fast, i must say. Now, I'm just waiting for it to be delivered...

Here are the things that I experienced.

present your appointment letter and ID to the guard at the gate, then go to gate 2 turn right.

make sure there's no errors in your ds forms, make sure you signed the ds 156 where it says.. "i intend to marry(name of your fiance)" then your signature below. Don't sign the one below that. Also there's one in ds 156k.

always look at the screen for your number to be called.

then they will call you either window 37 or 33 for finger scanning. (listen carefully coz their mics are crappy!)

at the pre-screening, give your nbi, birth certificate, cenomar (all should be nso authenticated), affidavit of support, some evidences (i got like tons but they only ask me 10 pictures and some chat and email logs).

pre-screening questions:

who is your petitioner?

when did you first meet? exact date

how and where did you first meet in person?

when was the last time you saw him?

then she said "ok wait for your number to be called again for your final interview"

Waiting for my final interview really made me nervous.. then after like 20mins my number is called again.

final interview questions:

who is your petitioner?

how old is he?

how, when and where did you meet?

whats his job?

has he been married before? how many times?

does he have any children?

where does the child stay?

how often did he visit you?

do you know his parents?

have you met his parents?

has he met your parents?

does he have any brothers/sisters?

how many times hes been divorced?

was he divorced when you met him?

do you know his previous job?

was he in the army before?

so last week was your birthday... did he send you any gifts?

do you mind if i take a look at your pictures?

then he signed something and stamped on my papers and said "ok mam your visa is approved, good luck"

I couldn't believe it :)

well you can schedule your visa interview ahead of time. Like my case, I scheduled it when my fiance didn't have his affidavit of support. We scheduled it 4 weeks ahead. No problem if you still don't have those :) those are not hard to get because their papers are all online. He can easily get those online.

Why Do I Love To Cook?

I love to make people happy and amazingly enough nothing can put a big satisfied smile on someones face after a good hearty meal. That's why I love to cook.
