They may send back the package, and if that happens all you will lose is a couple of days while in the mail. Or they may send an RFE for the copy of the green card, and again, all you will lose is some time. I wouldn't worry too much until you hear from them.

When you send the package? Wait and see if they cashed your check. If they do, then wait for the NOAS, when you get the biometric appointment since that's the file number they check online make a copy and send back a copy of your wife's green card attaching the copy of the receipts (so they can update your file). Put a note in front with all the details and explain it's an UPDATE for your file that you are enclosing your wife's green card photocopy.

 If you send something in on your own, there is a very high chance that it will not ever get reconciled to your original petition, and it would be a waste of time and effort. If you get an RFE for it, then send it in with the RFE paperwork. Other than that, wait and see if anything happens, it may end up never being an issue.

Yes. Just hang in there.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Yes, could happen...but there was a case here of a person "waiting for a RFE" that never came and got denied.

I will say is good to be proactive, which is never a waste of time and effort...geez.

In the other hand, nothing might happen or they just don't consider necessary at the time.

If you get a RFE then you know what to do.
