How many days does the physical exam at St. Lukes require? I have heard 2 days from one person and 3 from another. My fiance is getting ready to do hers and I need to know how many nights to get her a hotel room for. Also if anyone can give me info about the actual physical i would be thankful.

Normally it's two days. But if there are findings, you'll be asked to go back a third time often for a sputum test. Also, due to the heavy number of applicants, your second visit may be scheduled a few days after your first. Just in case, be prepared for a week's stay in Manila if you're from the province.

2 day is normal.

There is a hotel, very nice and American size rooms called EuroTel for 1200 to 1500 peso's per night, and it's less than 5 minutes from SLEC Medical Center and US Embassy.

I have stayed there myself.

Thank you for the response and the timeline info. I'm trying to help my fiance find out as much about the physical and interview so she will not be so scared. I'm trying to assure her everything will be fine but she's scared she will fail the interview and disappoint me.

Do you have any additional information on this hotel, phone number or email address? I Googled it and didn't get much information except that it was about 2000 per night.

Izel is very nervous about her physical and interview as well. I am worried about her being in Manila by herself. Her medical is next week and I have my fingers crossed that it will be OK.

I also need a very safe hotel for her to stay. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have been staying at the Executive Plaza but their rates have climbed out of site. We stayed at the Rothman last time and found it to be pretty good but still 1700 per night. If anyone has any suggestions, please let us know. Thanks.

of course it is natural for the girls to feel nervous/anxious about the whole process. the best thing to do is look up the philippines forum here at visajourney, it helped me a lot to know what to expect. make sure the girls know A LOT about your relationship, and bring a lot of evidence with them. practice the interview with a friend, they do the "rapid fire" kind of questioning. above all, tell them to be honest with their answers, avoiding "uhms". unfortunately nothing about the whole process is easy (from K1 to citizenship) but i think the hardest part for me was the k1 interview in the philippines. everything else after that was not too hard because my hubby was with me (it calms your nerves). best wishes guys!!!

Thank you for the information and the well wishes. I'm trying to arrange it so I can be there when she does her interview, she asked me me to pls be there for her. I know it would help her relax if I was there for her.
