hello,

My fiance applied me for K-1 visa petition,have to cancel. can I apply for H-2 visa after cancelling the k-1 visa petition ?

Please help me guys!

Petitioners can withdraw petitions. Beneficiaries cannot. You may apply for the H-2 visa as you wish but have a much better chance of success after the petition is withdrawn.

Thank you to you its help for me what to do .. but I worried if I ask to the petitioner to withdraw the K-1 Visa petition for me, then he dont withdraw I could not able to apply h-2 visa .... Huhuh

Is there really an H1 visa available for those who want to work in hotels? I thought there is a certain list of jobs that can get H1 visa because there are few US Citizens or LPRs available for the job. I dont think a job in a hotel is in the list.

Good luck to any one applying for a work visa to clerk at a hotel :wacko:

Sounds like an H-2B (classification applies to temporary or seasonal nonagricultural workers) which is not uncommon for hotels. Your perspective employer needs to petition on your behalf. :thumbs:

Hello, how did you cancell your petition ? please help me, i also need to cancel my papers in the uscis. please....

If you are the petitioner (American citizen) you just write a letter saying that you want to cancel your petition.

If you are the foreign beneficiary you CANNOT cancel it. You must ask the petitioner to do so and hope that he or she does. That's it!
