Sent Packet 3 to NVC: Now, what else and how long for the interview...

JUst sent 3rd packet to NVC. So, how long do I still have to wait for the interview... Is there any other documentation necessary... Am I gonna receive another packet of instruction...

Engage: jan 2004 to jun 2007

Ary living in US: 2004-2005

Jun 2007 - wedding planns back!

oct 2007 - legal marriage

nov 2007 - wedding party with our whole family

April 5th: I130 sent

April 15th: NOA1

MAY: HONEY MOON IN CABO SAN LUCAS MX

JUl: NOA2

Aug: Packet 3 documents gather in BR and US and medical test done

AUg: paied fees I-864 and IV Bill

Oct: Packet 3 sent

Nov: RFE

Nov: NVC case completed

INTERVIEW: JANUARY 9th = APPROVED!

Visa Delivered: JANUARY 14TH ( 3 working days after interview)

Packet 3 is the last thing that gets sent to NVC unless you get an RFE. Now you wait for your case to be complete. When it is they will send your file to the US Embassy in the country in question. When the embassy receives your file about 1 month before the interview they will send you packet 4 which contains medical exam instructions, interview instructions, and possibily some additional forms to fill out. Then get the medical exam, file any additonal forms and wait for the interview.
