Affidavits...necessary?

Hello,

I'm preparing my submission for removal of conditions. I have an issue with getting notarized affidavits due to the current circumstances of people who would be suitable to complete it (known for the whole length of the conditional residency, etc.)

I really want to get my submission off and I did a search here regarding affidavits and got a few different snippets of info. I keep seeing 'affidavits are not necessary' but I guess I'd just like some encouragement/support please!

Many thanks.

if you have a tonne of other evidence I wouldn't worry about sending them in...

I never sent any in...

We did not submit affidavits or photos but had strong financials that spanned the marriage as well as misc items like health insurance printout, utility bills, driver's lic (same address) etc. and were just approved (no RFE).

I'd say unless your submissions are weak they are necessary.

Thanks so much, you put my mind at rest. I have a bucket of other evidence; we own a house together and have a lot of other joint ties so I'm hopeful.

Thanks again! Best wishes, Candace
