No, right now you need to wait till USCIS cash the check, send you a Notice that they received your petition and after that they will approve your petition (It may take from 2 weeks to 1 year depending on the USCIS.). And you will receive your notice of Approval, where they will say that your petition approved and forwarded to NVC. After that NVC will receive it in 1-2 weeks (some time it takes up to 3 month) and give you defferent number of your case. couple weeks after that they will generate DS 3032 and also they will send you a bill for $70 at the same time.

You can find it all in James' Shortcuts found in the Time Savers thread in the NVC forum. First you will receive the DS-3032, with this form you will choose who will be the Choice of Agent (the person who will be getting all correspondence), it can be anybody, not just your mom. You will also get the AOS bill for $70. After you submit these two, you will receive the I-864 and the IV Bill for $400. After you submit this last payment you will receive the DS-230. When the NVC completes reviewing all paperwork, they will close your case and make an appointment with the embassy.

Thank you guys

I read the shortcuts but I still would like to ask another question even that is soon to do that. :bonk:

So in this case while I am waiting I can have my mom complete DS 3032 sign it and send it to me and when time comes I will be checking the automated massage and when I hear "NVC will mail......beneficiary" or "DS 3032 generated" then at that moment I can generate my own barcode, cut it and glue it on top of the DS 3032 Form and mail it.

I am trying to understand how do I get the barcode on the form without waiting to receive the form w/ the barcode on it. Looks like I am going to have a different barcode on the one I am going to send and the one I recieve from them. Will this mess up something. Different barcodes. Or even if I wait to receive the Form from them since I have DS 3032 alreday signed by mom is it safe just to write the barcode on top from original form. How do I handle this?

Any input is appreciated

Thank you

If you choose to follow the shorcuts, they show you exactly how to change the bar code on the form. Also remember that you also have an option to pay for the AOS bill and the IV bill online, which will then let you print out the forms from the DOS web site and not have to generate them yourself or wait for them to send them.

The instructions for this are int he WIKI tab.
