Thanks for the invite!!!!!! I feel I may be the winner....we did file pretty late. Sheeeeeeeeeeesh, now I think about it, i'll probably be the last left on the dang thread!

I'm leaving for the states at some ridiculous time in the morning on Saturday, but I trust kevin will be an excellent referee and ensure no one is calling up USCIS and begging for their NOA 2's to be delayed, just so they can beat me!

I WILL BE VICTORIOUS!! ;)

Initial = something you have left out from your petition that should have been there when you first submitted the application.

Further = they would like to see evidence in addition to the information you have already sent. EG more photo's, proof of meeting...etc.

Dont be sad! It means they are working on your case. Most people are approved quite quickly after they re-submit the RFE'd info to USCIS. Just do exactly as they ask and you could be approved really soon!

Thank you so much Ellie-and-David! I guess it´s about not answering part C question 2! When we became member of vj our petition was already sent in and we figured that we forgot about making a cross in the box cause we thought that question wouldn´t need to be answered if your not military living abroad, i know the mistake alot of other people have made before! Oh well if it´s just that it should be easy to fix it! I will keep you updated!

:))) honestly I would prefer if we all lose. I would much rather the term loser than to join this very sad tread 6+ months. i am a bit worried because I can't do anything untill I am waiting. I went to the consulate web site but they have nothing about packet 3 so I sent them e-mail and their response was: "don't do anything untill your petition is aproved. we will send you the information you need when the time comes" Not exact quote but that was the meaning. Oh well enogh complaining.

Good luck everyone with the race. I hope we are losers :))

First-time poster here. Just checked on the USCIS site and received notice that our NOA2 was sent today! BTW, first time I could see anything on USCIS site; previously just received the error message.

VJ site was very useful in preparing the petition, and will continue to use in the future. Thanks all for sharing your experiences.

I'll be back on when I get the chance..in the mean time...to all those who are still waiting for their NOA2's - I hope you all get it really soon!!!!

Have a blast!!!!!!!!! Hope you get through alright!!! I'm pretty nervous about my POE on saturday!! eeeeeeeeeek!!!

Don't be nervous! It'll be all ok. I went through it in December while i had my NOA1 and nothing went wrong. They just ask you the basic questions, the officer was a little suspicious...he thought i came a little often to the usa;) He just asked 'do you have so many times vacation and you only visit the usa??' lol. Make sure you have something like a letter from ur work, saying they expect you back.

Good luckand have a nice time!!

My Fiance came to visit in December and had as much supporting evidence as he could muster, in a nice neat book - and they barely asked him where he was going - it was his easiest entry into the US ever! Good luck :)

i have a question for you guys. i spoke with my fiancee and he is wondering exactly what is he supposed to prepare as a document showing his emplyment. he works for wallgreens and they have a website they work with for those purposes. basically if you have his code and his SSN you can check his position and his salary for the past years. he is saying that is what i am supposed to give to the consular but i am not sure about that.So my question is this enogh or there is like a form or something he has to fill and if thats a yes from where we can take it?

Thanks

We filed November 22 and got approved February 20,

Now I have no idea where the package is. How do you find out the path of it?

I sent an email to the NVC, no answer

I called the NVC, the online system, case not found.

Tried to talked to someone at NVC, impossible.

I sent an email to the embassy, no answer

So how do you get the dates that your package left NVC or arrived at the embassy?

Thanks
