Ack.....

Sometimes, if things are too good to be true......they are probably just flukes.

Sorry your on AP. Hope you dont get stuck there to long. I'm sure it'll be fine! Stay positive......I think the good proportion of us here have at least a good few months before we get anywhere near NVC! So at least you are that far ahead!

Best of luck :-)

EDIT...UUGGHHHH IT'S 4:30 AM.....why am i on here??!!???

About the birth certificate and police record, can i just get them in Dutch, or they have to be in English? Because i think they give them out in Dutch....not sure if its possible to as for an English one

Hey, I wasn't up all that late. Remember the time difference.

Check the embassy's website. They might accept them in Dutch, but they'll probably want them to be translated. I think you can do it yourself, if you can affirm that you are fluent in both languages.

I'd be interested to know what their response is. The standard response given out by most officials is that they wont even look in to your case unless you qualify for an expedite that has been refused or you are at the 6 month mark at USCIS.

We are going to write a cover letter and fax that with our NOA2 today, and prob adding their letter too.

Hopefully we all get approved soon! We're in our 4 month of waiting

I'll post more if we heard something again but that might take a while

That's good to hear..when we originally filed back in July or whatever, USCIS had lost our package so we had phoned the NJ congressman office and they said they were going to try and help us but we didnt get much luck so we ended up having to re-file after several months later! To think if our petition wasnt lost when we filed then, I wouldve already been in the US by now
